Well, the weather sure is miserable for summer, that's for sure...not saying that we don't need the rain or anything...but it's the holidays! and it sure isn't helping my cold :( had to run in the rain this morning to return dvds hired...urgh. Went to Chaddy today for a bit and bought a book; A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini the author of The Kite Runner. I can't wait to read it :D Other books to borrow/buy these holidays:

Area 7 - Matthew Reilly
Scarecrow - Matthew Reilly
The Choice - Nicholas Sparks
Persuasion - Jane Austen
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
Anna Karenina - Leo Tolstoy
The Lucky Bones - Alice Sebold
Angels and Demons - Dan Brown
Cloudstreet - Tim Winton
Eragon - Christopher Paolini
The Time Traveler's Wife - Audrey Niffenegger

That's it for now...can't think of any others...

That dreaded day has come, been and gone

Ah the lovely day when vce results come out...not. No doubt, everybody who did a yr 12 subject was nervous about finally recieving them (I didn't want to get out of bed) ...but most that I have heard of have been good, as were mine thankfully :) It was such a relief to know that all that hard work, stress and prayers have paid off and now I never have to think of revs or of history ever again! wooo haha I can't wait to see the newspapers (Wednesday, The Age for those wondering) ...hopefully there'll be lots of familiar names I can highlight :)
Me, Mum and Dad went out for yum-cha to celebrate, which was fun ...except that I have a cold which is really really annoying me... no beach tomorrow I think :( and off to bed early *sigh*
Well it has been a lovely day despite my earlier statement... once again God has come through and saved the day :) And now we are all free to enjoy the holidays yay!

Furballs

Cookie: grey with white paws and blue eyes...SO CUTE. I named her :) She's such a sweetie...hardly bites or scratches and is just content to sit next to you...Pretty much the exact opposite to her brother.

This one has many names...Coke according to Jonathan (cocaine?), Coco to Angela and Mum (but such a pansy name for a guy) but he's Tiger to me and Dad cos of the stripes on his back. Me and Linley also called him Spaz for a while cos he went so hyper running around the house and randomly attacking things...I'll post a picture of my battle scars later :P
Both kittens are 6 weeks old and from the same litter (brother and sister). On Wednesday they got their first vaccination. Cookie was so scared...when the needle went in she cried out..aww...but it protects them from all these diseases so it's worth it I guess. They have to go back in two weeks and then a month after that.
When we got them they were half the size they were now. You could hold one in each hand :) They're huge now! And in 6 months time they'll be fully grown :(
Well as you can see from this incredibly long post, I love these two kittens to bits! How could anybody not like cats?

Ich werde gebohrt und ermudet

Well hello there to all those gebohrt people who are actually reading this!
Basically I decided to set up this blog because while these holidays are beyond awesome and a welcome break from school, they're getting a little boring...and it's only been a week...so I thought I'd try something new :D Anyway...was planning on a longer post but I'm off to shop now! Don't you just love Christmas?
