EASTER CAMP 2008

Ok, finally the post about easter camp. Easter camp was SO MUCH fun. Seriously, it's one of the things you look forward too all year, and when it comes, you're never let down. Though it was different this year. Gabby wasn't here cos she's in Malaysia which sucked, but Andrea and Venetia came which was awesome :D
Anway. Highlights:
- playing heartattack and going crazy
- meeting new people
- the beach!!
- beating two people in that game with the sticks
- mass chocolate/pocky eating
- the last night where we did the 'persucuted church' thing. (We had to get from the indoor worship place to the outdoor, without running into the 'troopers', at night. It was so scary! But gave you just a bit of a glimpse at how life would be if you were Christian in another country.)
- doing special with Andrea and Michael while people looked at us as though we were aliens :)

Ahh good times. Can't wait for next years youth camp already.

The one thing that really really sucked though, was having to miss holi, the indian festival of colour. It would have been so much fun to smush coloured powder into people's faces like this:

Ahahahaha Preeta :P Oh well, I'm so going next year.

I. Have No Idea Where To Start.

GOSH SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED IN A WEEK.

I somehow managed to survive the two spesh sacs, chem sac, methods sac and write the english essay. Then went to chapel street on thursday to celebrate/go formal dress shopping which didn't really happen cos we went to the wrong section? I dunno. But we saw James Hird which was SO funny. We just stopped and stared (STOP AND STAREEEEEEEE) and Andrea whipped out her phone to take a photo but Amy stopped her :P

THEN there was camp. HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR. definately. I would write stuff about it, but it's past my bedtime and I think it deserves it's own entire post :) Plus pictures. When I get them :)

FOUR DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT

(Have you noticed how my posts are always about school? Thats how boring my life is. Anyway.)

I went shopping today! It was so much fun, even though I didn't buy anything. Also had tution. OH did I mention before how I got in the bottom three a couple weeks back? :D yeah. I cracked up when I saw my name on the board. I should take a photo and put it here.

On the topic of funny things. Me and Andrea were sitting in special (spesh changed to special cos we're oh so cool) one day and I asked here how to change pie/4 to pie/8 and she goes "ROOT IT". HAHAHAH. As in square root but she left on the square part. Ahh thats was HILARIOUSLY funny (maybe you had to be there). Oh and I signed up for the maths committee :D Hey being nerdy in plc is the equivalent of being cool. Gotta love plc. OMGOSH this is like incredibly lame and pointless and stupid but still...plc pride :) Channel 7 and some asian tv channel came to our school last thursday to flim a promotional video for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Basically our senior and junior school sports captains walked down a path carrying the olympic torch while we all stood on the side cheering. HAH and in typical plc fashion, the bagpipes made an appearance. And, our senior school sports captain is asian so I think it worked out well for them. The whole thing might be lame but hey, were any other schools chosen to be filmed? I don't think so :) (And we'd like to think that we were chosen cos we're the best school in Australia not because we have the highest percentage of asians of all schools ok? Good.)

EASTER CAMP ON FRIDAY. Looking forward to:
- going to the beach
- feeling God's presence
- getting closer to God
- the beach
- doing special with Andrea (as if we'd let a day go by without doing our beloved special)
- playing poker
- the skits
- the beach
- buying new bathers before camp
- chocolate - easter eggs! and other junk food :)
- d'n'm ing
- staying up late
- did I mention the beach?

Yeah. But first. Chem sac, 2 special sacs, methods sac, chem test, english essay due. Pretty sure this should be illegal.

one point. ONE POINT!!!!!

Yes. We lost the debate by one point. Which is actually pretty good considering I thought we'd get thrashed. But I think the one point is even more annoying cos you think...maybe if made that little bit extra eye contact or something that we'd have won. MEH. Who cares. It's over. And we didn't get terribly beaten. And plus, we were all debating against something we believed in which is always harder. It was still fun though :) The topic was 'that we should pay compensation to the stolen generation' and we were affirmative. It was pretty good actually :)

GOSH THATS SO ANNOYING. I just wrote a whole other paragraph on random stuff then I accidently highlighted it and deleted it...HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? I love the autosave thing on blogspot because if you accidentaly get out of it then what you've written is still there, but if you make a mistake, it saves it before you get a chance to undo it. Stupid stupid stupid.

Ahh don't have time to rewrite it. Chem sac and methods test to study for...and it's wayyy past my bedtime :P

I Love Long Weekends

This weekend was really really good :) Yesterday after church I went to Linley's house which was fun as usual. Hadn't seen her in a while so it was good to catch up. I had to leave early though to catch a train into the city to meet the school group for dinner :) We went to an Italian restaurant down at the docklands...and it was like an authentic Italian restaurant where they all had accents which was really cool. The food was GOOD :)

Especially:

Mmm chocolate pizza.

HAHA Andrea's finger's up my nose.

After dinner we walked about to Spencer St Station, took the train to Flinders and walked to Moomba :D It was so cool! I thought Moomba was only that parade thing not a whole festival thing with rides! Me, Amy, Kasten and Libby went on the ferris wheel which was funnnnn but also made us miss the last Glen Waverley train! HAHAHA so we pretty much ran all the way to Flinders to catch the last Lilydale train. We were JUST in time. It was seriously about to leave. And, being the last train, there was like 10,000,000 people on board. Me and Libby were so crammed in the middle we couldn't even reach one of those poles to hang on too. Squished toes anyone? Sorry. My fault. Eew and it stank too :P We got off at Camberwell, ran all the way to the tram stop...made it just in time for the last tram of the night...bumped into Anna Washington along the way...randomest thing ever. Took the tram to Wattle Park, Fiona's mum picked us up and dropped me and Libby off at Libby's house and yeah. Got home just before 1am :P It was a fun night :)

Today was boring. Got some work done though...

SO tired. School tomorrow :(

And The First Sac Week Is Almost Over

It's about time the weekend decided to come. Seriously. This week has gone on forEVER. But I'm so glad this weekend is a long one! :D Anyway...nothing much has been happening... I've so far survived an english sac, a spesh test, a methods test and a bio sac. Tomorrow: chem sac and bio test. And dancing with Payne...ugh. You can't even call what she does 'dancing'.
Life these days revolves around school. And homework. It's really boring.

I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE HOLIDAYS.

Preeta Quote of the Week

"im like a chinese factory - i mass produce everything"
(referring to the SIX paragraphs she wrote in the sac ahahaha)

*btw. that's not racist ;)

Never. Ever. Looking Both Ways. Again.

Seriously hate that movie. But the sacs over so it's all good :) Ahhh I was more scared of that sac than the revs end of year exam...not kidding. YAAAAAAAAAAY it's over!!!
It was such a stressful weekend....hah. Not that it's stopped being stressful. Spesh test tomorrow, bio sac thursday, methods test thursday, chem sac friday, bio test friday.

Anywayyy it was Mark's last day in Australia yesterday. So good luck to him for all his n.s. time :)

Better get back to studying for spesh.
