The Beginning of The End

So today marks the end of August, and come tomorrow, the last week of school uniform, the beginning of September, the beginning of spring, the beginning of the revision period, and the beginning of the end of our school days. *sob* Everything's winding down to an end, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for it to end yet. Call me a freak if you like, but I love school. Seriously :(

The good old days.

HAHAHAHA

Found this on the internet:

The Chemical Engineer's Chocolate Chip Cookies
1. 532.35 cm3 gluten
2. 4.9 cm3 NaHCO3
3. 4.9 cm3 refined halite
4. 236.6 cm3 partially hydrogenated tallow triglyceride
5. 177.45 cm3 crystalline C12H22O11
6. 177.45 cm3 unrefined C12H22O11
7. 4.9 cm3 methyl ether of protocatechuic aldehyde
8. Two calcium carbonate-encapsulated avian albumen-coated protein
9. 473.2 cm3 theobroma cacao
10. 236.6 cm3 de-encapsulated legume meats (sieve size #10)

To a 2-L jacketed round reactor vessel (reactor #1) with an overall heat-transfer coefficient of about 100 Btu/F-ft2-hr add one, two, and three with constant agitation.
In a second 2-L reactor vessel with a radial flow impeller operating at 100 rpm add four, five, six, and seven until the mixture is homogeneous.
To reactor #2 add eight followed by three equal portions of the homogeneous mixture in reactor #1. Additionally, add nine and ten slowly with constant agitation. Care must be taken at this point in the reaction to control any temperature rise that may be the result of an exothermic reaction.
Using a screw extrude attached to a #4 nodulizer place the mixture piece-meal on a 316SS sheet (300 x 600 mm). Heat in a 460 K oven for a period of time that is in agreement with Frank & Johnston's first order rate expression (see JACOS, 21, 55), or until golden brown. Once the reaction is complete, place the sheet on a 25 C heat-transfer table allowing the product to come to equilibrium.

Oh. My. Gosh. To think that it's actually written in english.
I googled the ingrediants; they're actually:
1. Flour
2. Baking soda
3. Salt
4. Shortening (butter)
5. White sugar
6. Brown sugar
7. Vanilla flavoring
8. Eggs
9. Chocolate chips
10. Crushed nuts

Anyway, gotta stop procrastinating :P

Basically I'm Really Bored

I was on dictionary.com and an ad was on the page with a kid that looked exactly how I imagined Hassan to look as a baby:

Anyway guess what I'm doing? Procrastinating!! What else? :P Trying to delay doing this Kite Runner essay as long as possible. At this stage, I'll probably be trying to do it during double spesh tomorrow :)

Insane. And shockingly sad. I love that song 'healer' :(

Three Things

1. I loathe english...hate isn't even a strong enough word
2. PEOPLE WHO HANG UP ON OTHER PEOPLE ARE MEAN :)
3. I don't understand how people can straighten their hair everyday. I tried for a week and I already cbb. Back to the messy, unpredictable half-curls :(
4. I'm turning into a rebel :O

Ok that was four things.

Tell Me How Anybody Thinks Under This Condition

I'm getting braces. For two years :(
I was incredibly annoyed. But now I'm not. Sugar does that to me. And after that mango cheesecake, two chocolate muffins and countless choc chip cookies, I have enough sugar in me for the next few days.
So if you want to tell me you hate me, now's the time. I'm feeling very mellow :)
When actually I shouldn't. Loads of homework after that wasted weekend. *SIGH* And now the braces news. I can't believe I have to go through graduation, my 18th, first year uni and most of second year, with braces. Eeeew.
Ok I'll stop whinging now. I guess if braces are the only thing I have to complain about, I'm pretty lucky :)

P.S Happy hundredth blog to me :) Ahaha talk about a summer-holiday-boredom-filler that went way overboard.
