Today was such a fun day :) We held a surprise party for Sheharas bday at lunch...well not me. but Preeta did :) and it was funnnn. SO much food. Anyway here are some photos.

Oh my goodness. That photo of Shehara in the middle cracks me up everytime I see it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Everyone singing happy birthday to her.
The curry group plus me and Jessie hahahaAhahaha. That's us with Sheharas unicorn/horse head on a stick thing :) Nobody rode on it though. How dissapointing.

Just finished writing an essay that took me 4 hrs to do. English sac on Monday? Yeah. So dead.

Hope you all have a good weekend!
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY FOR TOMORROW SHEHARA!

AHAHAHAHAHA

I just read Preeta's new post (on spreeta.blogspot.com) and had to update.
This is how Preeta describes me:

"It's so scary though, but like Julia is another one of the "genius"-y people. Sue Yean's the nicest person, and Jessie's really acidic, but Julia's the kind of person who's sweet on the outside but is actually reaaally evil ^^ (YES JULIA, IT'S TRUE)."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. one of the few people who actually know me ;)

And this is another Preeta quote, from Sheharas blog (snapcracklepop7.blogspot.com):

"I know im incredibly fortunate, and so is everyone who goes to plc, but it doesnt change the fact that 90 percent of us are socially retarded."

Preeta. Please speak for yourself ;)

Photos!

Oh Gosh. UMAT.

The behinds of PLC's teachers. Now that was funny. SOMEONE PUT IT UP ON YOUTUBE ALREADY!!!

Anyway. Off to do my english essay. I HATE 'LOOK BOTH WAYS'.

We're Like. So Totally Cool.

The Hillsong United Live tshirt :) (Andrea has it too!)
Had to wake up so early this morning. Not only for church, but Angela had to go to the airport at 6:30am for a gymnastics training camp at the AIS (Aus Institute of Sport) in Canberra with the rest of her squad. They're hopefully going to the 2010 Commonwealth Games. Pretty cool if I do say so myself.
Church was good. Worship was good I reckon. Had lunch at Grill'd with Gabby and her boyfriends (her brothers small group haha) it was so YUM. But I'm so bloated now from eating too much...
Time to do the english essay.

Sunday Morning Rain Is Falling

I hate the weekend. Teachers take it as though all we want to do at home is work. Seriously? Ugh. My To-Do List:
- 2 chem pracs
- bio prac
- english essay
- spesh assignment
- chem chap questions
- methods set work
Think I can get that done? I don't think so. OH WELL.

Other than the gay amounts of homework it's been a good weekend :) United Live was awesome! And me and Andrea found a potential schoolies house wooohoooo...And just got back from seeing Definately Maybe with the fam. It's really cute and I SO WANNA GO TO NEW YORK NOW :D Grr was meant to go last summer hols but Ang had gym comps. Annoyyyyyyyying. But yeah the movie's it's pretty good.
OH congrats Glamis people on winning house concerts. We came second! AHA who woulda thought...
Church at 7:30 in the morning tomorrow! So off to bed for me :)

House Concerts '08

Today was House Concerts! Meaning no classes. Meaning today was the best school day all term :D And the concerts were so good as well! Except ours...but oh well :P I'll put up pictures and videos once I get them off people/youtube. The funniest was the teachers dance though. They had a navy theme and all wore sailor hats and striped shirts and danced around on stage, including the v-principal and principal. They were HILARIOUS. Can't believe it's the last one we'll ever see :(

The past couple of days have been pretty good...not much homework...going to sleep early...nothing interesting reallyyyy

The Glamis house overture. They were SO GOOD. And will probably win. Results on Friday!!

The Twilight Picnic

This week has gone by SO FAST. And it's been such a great week compared with the one before, which felt like a month. Yesterday I had only two classes :) cos of the foundation day assembly and the making of a '50' down on the junior school oval. It was such a waste of time but we got crunchies after which was awesome hahah. I only had two classes after that and p.e which was dance. Which was the funniest thing ever. Omgosh. Like, THE most retarded, weirdest style of 'dance' ever. Ahhh anywayyy. After school was the Twilight Picnic! I didn't bring my camera so these are stolen from Shehara and Barbara :)

[Now everyone together. "AAWWWW"]

It was really really fun :D

Today was quite the boring. Went to tuition...got so frustrated cos I couldn't do a question and then at the last minute I knew what to do but didn't have time to do it and then it was too late and it got collected grr. Ahh other than that didn't do anything today.

OH. This morning I woke up and saw Tiger playing with my glow stick bracelet thing from last night. He sunk his teeth into, breaking it and making all the glowing fluid stuff inside go all over his face! Ahhh stupid cat. He went absolutely nuts, running around and shaking his face. I tried to pick him up to wash his face but he tore my hands to shreds. Well not shreds...but I got some nasty cuts. After he calmed down I wiped his face...so he's fine now :P Talk about curiosity killed the cat.

S2 HAPPY VALENTINES DAY S2

Aha. I didn't even know it was Valentines Day until I went to school :P But yes, I hope you had a good day..........Can you believe it? I'm actually bored. I have NO homework. Other than tution, but that's so hard I'm not even gonna bother. I tried, failed and gave up. But yes. No homework :D which makes me a very happy chappy. Anyway, I came across these pictures which are like. INCREDIBLE. They are SO COOL. Not to mention that I'm a sucker for anything disney related :)

'Where you're the fairest of them all.'
'Where every Cinderella story comes true.'
'Where imagination saves the day.'
'Where the magic begins.'

AAAAWWWWW. I LOVE Disney stories/movies/songs/anything. Can you see who the people are? Well if you can't, they're Rachel Weisz, Scarlett Johannssen, Julie Andrews, Abigail Breslin and David Beckham. And there are others too, but these are the nicest. Those pics are such good ads, now I really really wanna go to Disneyland again. Woo Eurodisney in Paris next year. Hopefully :D

Anywayyyyy, tomorrow is PLC's 50th anniversary in Burwood so with the whole Junior and Senior School, we're creating a massive 50 on the oval, and then a blimp is going to fly over and take a picture. Yes people, that's where our school fees go. Towards a blimp. No joke. But I get to miss chem and methods :D And tomorrow night is the Twilight Picnic wooo...we're going to have a picnic dinner :D No J-Walk for me though :(

With lots and lots of LOVE for Valentines Day,

Julia xoxo

So. Tired.

I'm so over school. There's so much homework. It's so gay. Ok. That's my whinge for today.

Anyway. Yesterday I went to ballet for the first time this year. It was quite the fun. I came half an hour early actually so I did the contemporary class too :D It was weird. But fun still. OH talking about weird. I woke up this morning on the wrong side of the bed. As in my head was at the end of my bed and my feet were on my pillow. Like WHAT THE???? I rarely move when I sleep let alone turn 180 degrees. And I don't remember waking up at all! Really. Really. WEIRD.

I can't wait for this week to be over. Seriously.

AHAha cheesy grin, pastily white skin ahhh gay.

Skipped church today :( And for the second year in a row I missed the time capsule thing!!!!! I SO would not have skipped if I had known that was going to happen today! ARGHARGHARG.

Came across THE best pick up line ever, thanks to V. Anyway here it goes: "I wish I was adenine, so I could be paired with U" HAHAHAHAH still cracks me up. (Sorry for all non-bio people and non-nerdy people who probably have NO idea what that's all about). Funniest thing ever.

Is Europe A Country?

Today was SUCH a great day. The Investiture Assembly was this morning and we got our year 12 badges. We had morning tea on the croqueeeeet lawn (sounds so posh) with scones and jam and cream (SOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD) and sandwhichs and the usual tea and coffee for the parents. We got to miss the first two periods meaning I only had ONE period the whole day, chem which was a working lesson. I can proudly say that I learnt NOTHING today.
Hmm, what else happened today. OH YES. Dad finally said yes to schoolies and the accomodation is booked :D I CAN'T WAIT FOR NOOSA.

To end with, found the funniest clip today.

Which reminded me of another.

HAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA

Two Words: Europe. Wait, Make That One.

Ok guys. Change of plans. I am now taking a gap year :D WOOHOO to delaying 15 years in uni :) Our plans are so far, to work in England for 6 months (saving) and then travelling for the other 6 months. Gosh. I am so excited I could jump up and down screaming with delight. But I shall contain myself, that is until we book tickets and make this thing a reality. Then I will go crazy.

Now that is breathtaking. (Thanks Shehara for the pics :D) Oh I really really really really really really hope we can go.

But first. Need to pass year 12. And currently, I will not be doing that until I start this stoopid English 'encountering conflict' personal reflection. I mean, what if you haven't encountered conflict personally? Ahh. Must think of something.
Investiture assembly tomorrow. Eew. Blazers. But triple spare ooooooooh yeah :D

Farewell Holidays

Well. This sure was a productive weekend. NOT. I did absolutely no homework, except the methods holiday assignment :P What did I do instead you ask? I spent unhealthy amounts of time on the computer and watching TV. Oh, and there was Marks bday dinner which was fun as. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Man, it still feels like the holidays. Which is why I'm dreading the start of the first full week of school, which will finally put an end to all the sleeping in, going out and lazy days which symbolise the holidays. So. Me in all my weirdness and randomness decided to write a goodbye letter to the lovely holidays which are going on a holiday until the summer of '09.

Dear Summer of '08,
Thank you for being the most awesomely awesome holidays yet. I absolutely loved it how you let me sleep in till 1 in the afternoon and spend many consecutive days in my pjs. At first I thought you would be bad but it was surprisingly easy to forget all about homework, of which I really should start. Thank you for the beach, sleepovers, cook-athons, bikerides, catching up, mass-baking, parties, picnics, photos, friends and heck, I'll even thank you for my sunburn (although not for the peeling, which is really quite gross). Thank you for all those unforgettable moments. I won't forget you summer of '08 and I hope when you come back as the summer of '09, you'll be even better. I can't wait already. Noosa, here we come! So, summer of '08, thank you for a great time. Farewell.

The Last First Day Of School Ever :(

Today was awesome! It was so exciting being back at school...catching up...seeing everyone...getting our timetables :D I have 8 spares with a triple on day E yay. Didn't get diaries today though :( well everyone else did except the 11s and 12s which is SO SILLY considering our work is much more important and we're the ones that need to be organised. Classes were ok. Almost fell asleep in English. Chem was good except I don't have Brown as my teacher :( COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN EVERYTHING! It's so bad ahahaha. Should really get started on that chem holiday homework...MM was the worst though. They put some of us with the year 11 acceleration class which is so gay. I was hoping for MM to be my slightly-less-stressful class (compared to spesh, chem etc) but now we're apparently going through the course faster than the other classes. And I don't know anyone in my class :( ahhh. I love blogging. You can whinge for a whole 5000 words if you want to and not feel bad cos if you don't want to listen to me whinge then you can just press that little red X in the top right hand corner of this page :)

Anyway. J-Walk tonight was SO FUN :D We had a murder mystery night where we were all different characters with histories. A 'murder' was committed and we all had to work out who the killer was. I worked it out! yay :D I was Sally Sax, a marching band member and 'married' to Danny Drums, a little year 9 ahahahah. Even funnier was Andrea who was married to Kenneth this tiny cute little year 7 boy :D Ahhh it was a great time...a tad innapropriate (affairs, pornography, scandals, prostitution came up AHAHAHAH I just made it sound SO bad...it really wasn't...I think the prostitution bit was made up by someone with an overactive imagination) but it really was good fun. Everyone dressed up as their characters! Stupid camera was out of battery or I would have taken pictures.

Time for bed now :)
